As a fantasy author and Aboriginal (Gumbaynggirr) storyteller, I love stepping into classrooms (in person or virtually) to talk with students about the magic of reading, writing and creating. Stories are powerful – they help us imagine new worlds, understand ourselves, and dream beyond the ordinary.
I bring years of experience as a professional speaker, workshop facilitator and accredited trainer, and I know how to keep students engaged, inspired and entertained. My visits are designed to spark creativity, demystify the writing process and give students practical tools to craft their own stories.
I’ve run successful workshops for schools in Brisbane, the Queensland Writers Centre, libraries across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the Redlands, and presented at GenreCon several times. I follow the Australian Society of Authors (ASA) recommended rates, which you can find here.
✨ I can also provide:
- Teacher and Librarian resources
- Discounts on bulk book orders
- Book sales on the day (or pre-ordered via my online shop)

A Little About Me
I’m the author of The Kyprian Prophecy series (YA romantic fantasy) and the Fae of the Crystal Palace series (gaslamp fantasy romance for older teens and adults).
My love of reading and writing began in childhood with fairy tales and legends, and eventually led to a career in journalism, marketing and communication. Over the last 25+ years I’ve worked as a journalist, editor, trainer and speaker in Australia and internationally.
I hold a Bachelor in Public Relations, Journalism and Media Production, an Advanced Diploma of Management, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
When I’m not writing or teaching, you’ll find me weaving, cooking, or enjoying life in Meanjin (Brisbane) with my family and far too many pets.
